What Is a Multi-Engine Rating?

A Multi-Engine Rating allows pilots to operate aircraft with more than one engine, introducing new levels of performance, complexity, and responsibility. Multi-engine aircraft require advanced skills in aircraft systems management, performance planning, emergency procedures (including engine failure), and precision aircraft control. This rating builds on your existing pilot certificate and prepares you for more advanced aviation opportunities.
